Are your candles safe?

When used correctly, candles are safe to enjoy. Please follow all safety instructions provided with your candle and never leave a burning candle unattended.

What are Bee'Lyte Candles made from?

Our candles are hand-poured using premium natural beeswax, carefully selected fragrance oils and quality cotton wicks to provide a clean, long-lasting burn.

Why is my candle tunnelling?

Tunnelling usually occurs when the candle has not been allowed to achieve a full melt pool during its first burn. Allow the wax to melt evenly across the entire surface before extinguishing.

Why is my candle producing soot?

A wick that is too long or exposure to a draught can cause soot. Trim the wick to approximately 5mm before each burn and keep the candle away from open windows, fans and moving air.

Why is my flame too large?

An oversized flame is usually caused by a wick that needs trimming. Extinguish the candle, allow it to cool, trim the wick and relight.

How long should I burn my candle for?

For best results, burn your candle for 2–4 hours at a time. This helps create an even melt pool and maximises the life of your candle.

How do I care for my candle?

Always trim the wick to approximately 5mm before each burn, keep the wax free from debris, and place the candle on a heat-resistant surface away from children, pets and flammable materials.

Is beeswax better than paraffin?

Beeswax candles generally burn cleaner and longer than traditional paraffin candles, making them a popular choice for those seeking a more natural and premium candle experience.
